Teodoro Cromberg

Teodoro Pedro Cromberg es compositor (Licenciado y Profesor Superior de Música en la especialidad de Composición -UCA- ) y pianista. Fundó y dirigió la carrera de Artes Electroacústicas (ORT) hasta el año 2011. Es profesor (Contrapunto, Armonía, Orquestación, Música de los s. XX y XXI) en la Escuela de Música Contemporánea (Berklee International Network). Es profesor (Contrapunto, Fuga, Acústica, Música Mixta e Interactiva) e investigador (Piano y Nuevas Tecnologías) en el Departamento de Artes Musicales (Universidad Nacional de las Artes). Ganó el Premio Municipal de Música (bienio 2010 – 2011) en la categoría Música Electroacústica.


Teodoro Pedro Cromberg is composer (Bachelor and Professor of Music in the specialty of Composition -UCA-) and pianist. He founded and directed the career of Electroacoustic Arts (ORT) until 2011. He is professor (Counterpoint, Harmony, Orchestration, Music of the XX and XXI century) at the School of Contemporary Music (Berklee International Network). He is professor (Contrapunto, Fuga, Acoustics, Mixed and Interactive Music) and researcher (Piano and New Technologies) in the Department of Musical Arts (National University of the Arts). He won the Municipal Music Prize (biennium 2010 - 2011) in the Electroacoustic Music category.


“El Arpa, la Mano y la Sombra”

Grabado en el Instituto de Tecnología ORT. El título fue tomado en préstamo de la novela de Alejo Carpentier “El Arpa y la Sombra”. La pista electroacústica es, en casi su totalidad, un único score de Csound, lenguaje de programación dirigido a la síntesis y el procesamiento del audio digital.


Recorded at the ORT Institute of Technology. The title was borrowed from Alejo Carpentier's novel "El Arpa y la Sombra". The electroacoustic track is, in almost its entirety, a single Csound score, a programming language aimed at the synthesis and processing of digital audio.
